As a resident of Longboat Key for 20 years, I raised my daughter, built a home and got to know the ins and outs of island life. With work, activities and my daughter's schooling in Sarasota, a move to Northwest Bradenton and managing several area vacation rentals, I've been immersed in the Sarasota-Manatee community for almost 25 years. I continue to find reasons to love where I live. Beyond the gorgeous beaches, nature preserves, the art, culture and dining, there's a real heartbeat and growing vibrancy to this slice of Florida's Suncoast. And of course, those spectacular sunsets never get old.

Originally from Philadelphia, I enjoyed a long career in hotel marketing and management before switching gears to serve as VP of development for a Florida based children's game company. These experiences taught the fundamental importance of understanding customers' needs, being solution oriented and leading with integrity.

Interests: I am a trained chef and believe cooking is a love language. I enjoy being outdoors and on the water, and spending time with family and friends, especially if it involves food and music. I've served and supported several community organizations, with the Child Protection Center being especially close to my heart. I love live music, theater, travel and am always looking for a good book.
